Voices from the past – a concert in Warsaw

The Poznań Boys’ Choir was invited by the Septem Octaves Association to participate in a concert marking the 104th anniversary of Poland’s regaining of independence. The idea of the concert  – “Voices from the Past” – is to reflect the spirit of Polishness in the works of outstanding Polish composers, and to present the most famous Polish patriotic songs in very interesting arrangements for a cappella choir.
The concert will consist of two parts:
The first part will present works by prominent Polish composers who created at various moments in history for the benefit of the homeland and the strengthening of its independence.
In the second part of the concert, it will be possible to listen, as well as actively participate in the performance of the most beautiful Polish patriotic songs.
The idea of the concert “Voices from the Past” will be realized by presenting the works of outstanding Polish composers, as well as presenting the most famous Polish patriotic songs in very interesting arrangements for a cappella choir performed by the Poznań Boys’ Choir under the direction of Jacek Sykulski.
The concert will take place on November 11, 2022 at 8:00 pm at the Archcathedral Basilica in Warsaw, ul. Świętojańska 8
